What this site is for

Scaled School publishes care guides for leopard geckos, crested geckos, and pet tortoises. The guides are general information for keepers, built around parameter tables cross-checked across breeder practice, expo and marketplace data, and published veterinary and herpetology literature. They are not a substitute for professional advice for a specific animal. Health content on this site is covered separately by the Veterinary Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Accuracy

We take care to keep the parameter tables and guides accurate, and we correct errors backed by sources and note the correction. Care standards change, and sources disagree — where they do, this site shows the range rather than a single number. We do not guarantee that every value on every page is current at the moment you read it, and you should check the parameter tables against current sources before acting on them for an animal in your care.

Using the content

You may read, link to, and quote this site’s content for personal and non-commercial use, with credit to Scaled School and a link to the page quoted. You may not republish the site’s guides in full, present them as your own work, or use them to train or populate another site or product without permission. Photographs on this site are used under the Pexels license recorded in the photo licence ledger retained with the site build; that license does not transfer any broader right to reuse a photograph beyond the terms of the Pexels license itself.
